Bot Not Responding

If your Solana Funded Telegram bot isn’t responding to commands or updates, follow these steps to troubleshoot and get it working again. Most issues are caused by connection permissions, outdated sessions, or Telegram rate limits.

1. Check Bot Status

Start with the basics:

  • Make sure you’re interacting with the official SolanaFunded Bot (verify the username and logo).

  • Type /start to reinitialize the bot.

  • If you see “Bot is currently unavailable,” it may be undergoing scheduled maintenance.

Tip: You can always check the latest bot status in the Announcements or Help Centre → System Updates section.

2. Verify Your Account Connection

If the bot doesn’t recognize your account or fails to send updates:

  • Ensure your Telegram account is linked correctly from your dashboard under Settings → Telegram Integration.

  • Tap “Connect Bot” again and authorize via the Telegram pop-up.

  • If you’ve recently changed Telegram accounts, re-link to the new handle.

When linked correctly, your dashboard will show “Bot Connected ✅.”

3. Reset the Chat Session

If the bot has stopped responding entirely:

  1. Open your chat with the bot.

  2. Tap the bot name → “Stop Bot”, then “Start” again.

  3. Type /start to refresh your session.

This reinitializes your authentication token and reestablishes the message stream.

4. Check for Rate Limits or Muted Notifications

Telegram limits how many requests can be made per minute. If you’ve sent multiple rapid commands or requests:

  • Wait a few minutes and try again.

  • Avoid sending duplicate commands repeatedly.

  • Make sure the bot isn’t muted or restricted in your Telegram app.

Enable notifications to receive alerts for trades, payouts, and updates in real time.

5. Bot Not Sending Alerts or Updates

If your bot is connected but not sending alerts:

  • Ensure notifications are enabled in your SolanaFunded dashboard.

  • Check that your account phase (evaluation or funded) is active — alerts only trigger on active accounts.

  • Verify your Telegram privacy settings allow messages from bots.

Pro Tip: Some Telegram clients (like web versions) don’t support all bot features — use the mobile app for full functionality.

  • Join the official announcements channel to get notified when the bot is back online.
